Break Up With Symmetry

Your left ear and your right ear are two different people.

So why would they wear the same thing?

Almost nothing here comes as a matching set. Most of our pieces are sold individually — one earring, one price — so you pick any two and build a pair that has never existed before.

One ear gets the tabby. The other gets the fish skeleton he refuses to share, even though it's been picked clean.

All crab. All chaos. Or something in between.

Why we do it this way

A matching pair is one object worn twice. A mismatched pair is a setup and a punchline.

That's the difference, and it's the whole reason this brand exists. Matching jewelry can only be pretty. Mismatched jewelry can be funny — it can tell a joke across your head that lands the moment someone looks at you properly.

It also means nothing you own is finished. Every piece you add makes every piece you already have into something new.

How to build a collection

1. Start with a story you like.
A mouse and his cheese. A cat and his fish. A dachshund in a red beret and the apple he's decided is his. Pick a pair that already goes together.

2. Then break it.
Buy a third. Now the mouse can go out with the crab. The astronaut can share a face with a poison apple. This is where it gets good.

3. Pick by mood, not by outfit.
This is the part people don't expect. Once you've got five or six, getting dressed changes — you stop asking what goes with this shirt and start asking what kind of day is this going to be.

Feral Monday: all chaos.
Big meeting: one loud, one quiet, like you have it together.
Coffee with your favourite person: the two that make them laugh.

4. There is no wrong pair.
That's the point. You cannot make a mistake here. The worst outcome is that someone asks about it.

The rules

There are two.

  1. Some pieces are marked "sold as a pair" — those ship as a matching set, because a few designs genuinely need both halves.
  2. Everything else is yours to mix.

That's it. That's the whole system.
